In the heart of a park planted with trees and flowers, you may bathe from May to October in our large roofed swimming-pool. In July and August the water temperature varies between 28°C and 30°C. In May, June and September it will be over 25°C minimum.

You may as well enjoy the horse riding club 400 m away. The nearest golf course is only 6 km from the house.

In the heart of the village, the "Maison du Dolmen" is a genuine Périgord family house where you will enjoy living. Period 19th century furniture and quality comfort, central heating and fireplace (free wood). The owner's holidays house is on the same property, but everyone's intimacy remains preserved.

Nice enclosed garden (2000 sqm) with private swimming-pool under sliding cover (6x12 m), possible use from May to October. Small supermarket and bakery nearby.

Faux is an ideal starting point to visit the region. In the heart of the "Purple Périgord" the village is located 3 km from the castle of Lanquais and its barrier lake, 7 km from the medieval town of Issigeac, less than 20 km from the English and French castles and bastides from the time of Alienor d'Aquitaine (12th century), 40 km from Les Eyzies, the French capital of prehistory.

The name "Purple Périgord" will also remind you of the Autumn coulour of the Bergerac wineyards and of its most famous wines : Pécharmant and Monbazillac.

For those fond of good living, many restaurants offer the opportunity to taste the Périgord cuisine where truffles appear in good place. In the Maison du Dolmen, you may visit its truffle bed and even its dolmen.

The possible sporting activities are many and various : a horse riding club in Faux, but also 3 golf courses within 20 km, a barrier lake for rowing on the Dordogne river, tennis, cycling and walking.
