Hibou Grange Gites

We have just returned from another fantastic week at Combel, Hibou Grange Gites, Suzy and Clive are exemplary hosts, thank you so much. The gite was perfect and the pool was a welcome sight and swim after a days exploring. The beautiful night skies full of stars and shooting stars did not disappoint and we spent many nights lying beside the pool star gazing. We visited and explored many more places and there’s still more to see, maybe next time. Thanks for your restaurant recommendations and the advice to fly to Brive and hire a car, a bit of an early start but so much easier than driving the whole way from the UK. We love this place it’s so private and a couple of miles from the nearest village which has everything you need but also close to all the main attractions that the Lot and Dordogne area has to offer. I would highly recommend this gite to anyone, a perfect place for making beautiful memories. Thanks again guys xx

Sadly we have said goodbye to our final guests at Combel this year 😢 now the task of cutting back the many lavenders and putting the garden to bed for the winter. Such a peaceful and calm place to work, just me and the birds singing, it is the place to be to forget these crazy times.

Combel is looking green, lush and beautiful, the pool is 26 degrees and rising, it feels very sad and strange not to be able to share it with our guests in these difficult times. We look forward to the day when we can open the doors and welcome people again, in the meantime we wish you all the very best, stay safe and healthy and we hope to see you very soon.

COMBEL, our super child friendly holiday home in beautiful South West France. We have enjoyed being host to many families this year and would love to welcome you and your family one day.
