The Old Bakery Gites are fully registered in France under the name of George Thain - entreprise individuelle - Siret 80511234900016 . The Old Bakery Gites and the owners house date back to 1790 and are the former farmstead and bakery of Quehujean located in the heart of Brittany in the village of Gomene Cotes d'Armor France. We have three fully renovated well appointed traditional Breton stone git

es set around a courtyard in over an acre of beautiful gardens.All cottages have been fully renovated but maintain their traditionall charm with exposed stone walls and character beams.Rentals available for 1 to 13 people .The pretty little Wren Cottage sleeps 2 people , Nightingale cottage for 4 people and Merlin Cottage for up to 7 people. Or rent all three cottages for a large group of up to 13 people.We offer high quality accomodation consisting of a downstairs open plan kitchen living area and upstairs bedrooms and shower rooms.We are within easy reach of historic towns such as Josselin and Moncontour, Broceliande the legendary Arthurian forest at Paimpont and beaches are within an hours drive . The gites are within the grounds of our former farmhouse and bakery and whilst guests have full access to over an acre of stunning gardens with countryside and forest views each gite also benifits from its own private seating and BBQ area. Our heated pool is also available for guest use. Each gite has a wood burning stove and electric heating.and both UK and French TV. WIFI is available in all gites.The gites are self catering.Sorry not suitable for wheelchairs and we cannot take pets. We would love to see you here - prices on enquiry.

Spring owl update for the followers of our resident Barn owls - After lasts years upsetting nest predation Mrs Barn owl returned in the late Autumn of last year and we are pleased to report Mr Barn owl returned this spring . We hope to report the patter of owlet feet again this year.

We are open for the season and welcomed our first guests today. They have booked a basket making course in the village and looking forward to trying the newly opened Les Legends Creperie bar in Gomene.
