And all of our literature, information booklets and and detailed itineraries exist in full, in English. For 25 years, the company has been successfully organising and selling independent and guided treks, thanks to our experienced, qualified English-speaking guides and the beauty of the area. Our clients, of which 70% are foreigners (from Holland, Switzerland, Germany, America and Belgium), come back year after year to try out our various treks. We organise mainly self-guided tours of 7 days walking, leading to a different location each night. There is two options for the transportation of luggage : either a personal donkey to take on the trek, or we arrange for it to be taken by car each day to the next destination. Accomodation consists of gîtes, mountain cottages, and chez l'habitant : literally means at the home of the inhabitant : you eat at the table with them and the other trekkers, and sleep in their own little chalet style gîte –
Gives the opportunity to really experience the area and have first hand advice and accounts from the locals. Two of our treks are geared for those who enjoy a good walk, but also have a rich palate for quality French cuisine, starting the meals off with an 'apéritif' and finishing with a 'digestif'!
