18-25 December, 2020 is now available!
We know now that ski lifts will not open in France for the end of year holidays, as long as the restaurants are forced to close.
We are now of course, with lifts closed in France, adjusting our rates accordingly by setting lower rates until the ski areas reopen.
The chalets sleeping twelve cannot offer the same flexibility as our apartments in Switzerland sleeping 4. They are just too large to have regular changeover days, so will remain with minimum stay of 7 nights.

Winter in the mountains is not just about downhill skiing, we have learnt that in Arosa.
All mountain resorts are resourceful, they will not disappoint their visitors.
An extremely varied range of activities exist in Hauteluce: outdoor sports activities (snowshoes, ski touring, ski-dooing, husky dog trips into the forest and mountains. The mountain Twister..etc.), fun activities, cultural and heritage walks. ... the ski resorts and villages of Savoy are places alive and inhabited all year round, they are by nature areas conducive to a change of scenery and to the expression of various forms of tourism.
Some holidaymakers may make the choice to spend their holiday here "a little different" this year.
Regarding our chalet Very Joly, it is obviously very closely linked to winter sports where we chose the stunning valley of Hauteluce to build because of it's high snowfall microclimate near Mont Blanc, and because of the way Agriculture and Tourism work together.
According to Gites de France, only 1 in 2 people on winter mountain holidays practice skiing. Well well!
Travel will normally be possible from December 15 and no official restrictions will then prevent you coming on holiday and staying in our beautifully remote chalet, spending the end of the year holidays in the mountains.
Holiday stays are possible, the villages and ski resorts are lively, the shops are open, a multitude of activities await.

From December 15, if the improvement in the health situation is confirmed, the confinement will be lifted. Holiday stays will therefore be possible.
