Mas St Joseph was built in 1790 as the living quarters for the adjacent monastery and is therefore steeped in history. Much of the original monastery has now been incorporated into the peach farm, forming an additional farmhouse and various barns. The beautiful chapel is situated on the opposite side. ountains beyond, still retains much of the tranquil atmosphere from its past. Various items of traditional Catalan brocante are on display in the rooms and are available for purchase. On the ground floor the entrance hallway, with exposed stonework and beams, has a large refectory table (and side board with tea and coffee making facilities), ideal for meals when guests wish to eat inside. There is a guest sitting room with open fireplace and various facilities for guest use (desk, printer, maps, regional information). French doors lead out to the Moroccan style patio/courtyard with barbecue, seating area on one side and swimming pool and further seating area on the other. Guests are welcome to choose where to take their breakfast. We have three guest rooms, all with brand new en-suite shower and WC. Guests can choose from a double, a luxury double / twin, or a family / group room with a double bed & bunk beds. Each room has its own unique character with large comfortable beds, luxurious linen and carefully selected furnishings. Wi-fi is available throughout the property.
