There is so much to discover around Alpe d’Huez like La Berarde & Venosc. Day-1 of Epic21 June 2026. The Venosc gondola is more used to taking downhill mountain bikers back up to Les Deux Alpes but as the lift attendant says, super expensive carbon bikes are not a problem for them. Then it’s all downhill and fast to the beautiful Lac du Chambon. Then Col de Sarenne and you are back just above Alpe d’Huez.
