Snowboxx festival tonight in Avoriaz. Fatboy Slim. Pyrotechnics. A few thousand people who couldn't quite believe their luck.

This is the other side of a French Alps holiday that people don't always know about. World class music, right here in the mountains.

There's something about Grenier Les Bouts at night that gets us every time ✨

Stone walls. Fairy lights in the snow. A warm glow from inside that makes you never want to leave.

With fresh snow falling across the Alps this week, we are very much still in winter mode here in La Côte-d'Arbroz. We're not complaining.

Grenier Les Bouts — our romantic stone Grenier for two, built in 1901 and sitting quietly in La Côte-d'Arbroz while the rest of the world rushes by.

The slopes of Les Gets are 10/15 minutes away. Morzine is 10. But once you're inside with the wood burner on, you might not want to go anywhere at all.

Boardercross comp today for our eldest. Blizzard conditions. Hundreds of kids who just think this is completely normal on a Saturday 😅

Watching from the sidelines is just as much of an adrenaline rush as being on the board yourself.

Our kids have grown up knowing these mountains like the backs of their hands. Every run, every shortcut, every hidden spot.

We never take it for granted.
