About half an hour from the house, Cirque de Moureze is one of our favourite walks. It's about a two and a half hour circular walk, starting with a steep climb up to the top. It's well worth while because once at the top, there are fantastic views of Lac Salagou below.

The Chateau has a history going back to the 12th Century. Open to the public, you can wander around and see and read all about it for 7 Euros each, plus we bought some of their wine!! It's only about 15 to 20 minutes from the house.
