A walk up to Mont Chéry. The views are endless, nature surrounds you and there's nothing to hear but crickets and cowbells.
In winter, this is also a great ski. Just 20 minutes from Chalet Hugo.

These snaps were all taken on a walk at Mine d'Or, just a few minutes drive from Chalet Hugo.
As well as the waterfalls, the lakes, the beaches, the breathtaking mountain views, the goats, the cows, the sports, and the lovely cheeses and wines, you will find stunning nature walks, in every direction.

Chalet Hugo is the perfect base for exploring Haute Savoie.
If you like waterfalls, nature walks, medieval architecture, big skies, awesome views and delicious food you'll love it here! Oh, and goats! We have lots of them that wander about in Lindaret ("the goat village").

Half an hour's walk from the stunning Lac de Montriond (1) is the Cascade d'Ardent (2) where they're building a viewing platform extending over the waterfall and a beautiful and slightly terrifying riverside walk above the waterfall (3 & 4) and a stunning view down to Morzine from Linderets (5). What a day!

One of many near here, the Chateaux des Allinges has a beautiful 1000 year old painting in its chapel and a breathtaking view.
Chalet Hugo is a great base for winter and summer sports and sightseeing.
