We feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of France - the Haute Vienne. Being able to walk for miles and miles through stunning countryside, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the peace and quiet around us… it’s a real privilege.

And now that spring has finally arrived, with its flowers, soft light and longer days, it’s the perfect time to enjoy it to the fullest. 🌸🌿

As the days warm up we are busy preparing Garage Number 9 for our guests to enjoy and we cannot wait to share it with you all 🩷

Nous nous sentons tellement chanceux de vivre dans une si belle région de France — la Haute-Vienne. Pouvoir marcher des kilomètres et des kilomètres à travers une campagne magnifique, respirer l’air frais et profiter du calme qui nous entoure… c’est un véritable privilège.

Et maintenant que le printemps est enfin arrivé, avec ses fleurs, sa lumière douce et ses journées plus longues, c’est le moment idéal pour en profiter pleinement. 🌸🌿

Alors que les journées se réchauffent, nous sommes occupés à préparer le Garage Numéro 9 pour que nos invités puissent en profiter, et nous avons hâte de le partager avec vous tous 🩷

If you're looking for an afternoon out, why not take a short trip into the Vienne and visit La Terre de Dragons 🐊
Stepping back in time as you wander around the tropical dome that's home to crocs, snakes, lizards and if you're brave enough.. there's a suspended net bridge that takes you right over the crocodile enclosure - we had a great time there!
A perfect trip out for animal lovers or anyone who loves a little adventure 🦎

Si vous cherchez une sortie pour l’après-midi, pourquoi ne pas faire un petit tour dans la Vienne et visiter La Terre de Dragons 🐊

Un véritable retour dans le temps en vous promenant dans le dôme tropical qui abrite des crocodiles, des serpents, des lézards… et si vous êtes assez courageux(se), il y a même un pont suspendu en filet qui passe juste au-dessus de l’enclos des crocodiles — nous y avons passé un excellent moment!

Une sortie parfaite pour les amoureux des animaux ou pour tous ceux qui aiment un petit brin d’aventure 🦎

Today we walked the Bachellerie - Les Marcoux- Le Châtenet green route near Blond in the Haute Vienne.

This 10.0km circular trail is generally considered a moderately challenging route. It is a popular trail for hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of the day🚶‍♀️
It passes alongside serene fields of horses and at this time of year, the sounds of Spring are quiet but they are there if you listen carefully 💚

Estimated time for this trail is 3/4hrs with an elevation gain of 316m. Parking at the start of the trail is available in the town of Blond.
