Costa Rica is not just the home of Pura Vida but the birthplace of a unique and varied rock scene, one that is heavily influenced by latin rythms, reggae and traditional folk music. While many Costa Ricans, or Ticos, will listen to mainstream international music, like in most countries, tipical Costa Rican music is a wonderful combination of all of these previously mentioned genres!
