Oasis Peer Support Team at Caereinion High School Peer Support in Caereinion High School Oasis offer support to young people in Caereinion High School, focusing particularly on yr 7 & 8.

They visit classrooms to get to know the students, ask their opinions, get ideas for workshops and to help shape their programme. They are actively involved in sharing Youth Information and plan activities to support this.

Lots of fun and games too!
Thank you Vicki Griffiths for your support. It was interesting and useful to hear from someone who counsels people professionally. 👂 an important fact we took away.... don’t be scared of silences.

The Oasis team are meeting next Thursday 26th July at Llanfair Caereinion Institute for a training day. We will be looking at communication and counselling skills and confidentiality. 10am-4pm. Bring a packed lunch or money to buy lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided. 🌴🙂
