Well we have been busy bees 🐝, over the last few months with our “big”garden rockery project and our little bedroom refurb.

We had a large patch of garden that was uneven and just boring so we decided to get rid of all the grass and create a beautiful rockery garden, we have also added some beautiful plants and trees that will really offer some colour over the coming months.

So on top of that as if we didn’t have enough to do, I decided our bedrooms needed a lick of paint to keep them to the high standards our lovely guests expect, so obviously all deco bits and soft furnishings needed changing! 😜

We have also added a beautiful shaded Pergola for our guests over by the pool and installed something for ourselves this year we built a lovely covered terrace at the front of our house!

Now’s the time to start welcoming our guest for another successful year at
LE GITE,

We are really lucky to have some lovely new guests arriving and also really really pleased to welcome back some repeat guests, here’s to a fantastic summer ahead !!

Well I’m knackered! and our summer season hasn’t even started yet, we have been busy here at LE GITE since the back end of last year, I’ve been giving our house a good old decorate and I’ve refreshed the three bedrooms in the gite we have been doing major garden work with a small rockery! (Pictures to follow) But first we decided to add a fixed pergola to the seating area next to the pool for our gite guests! Which will provide some much needed shade, well I’m off to do the finishing touches to the bedrooms in the gite.

Wij hebben hier erg genoten van onze zomervakantie. Een oase van rust, ruimte, luxe en comfort. De gîte is met veel smaak ingericht waardoor we ons erg verwend voelden. De bedden, de badkamers, woonkamer, keuken, terrassen, alles ziet er even perfect uit. De matrassen en kussens waren heel fijn en van goede kwaliteit. De lakens, handdoeken, zeepjes, alles van topkwaliteit en wat ruikt het allemaal lekker. Het zwembad is in één woord fantastisch. Heerlijke temperatuur van het water en super schoon. Het zwembad is ook lekker groot. Zelfs de buitendouche heeft warm water. In de omgeving zijn veel pittoreske dorpjes, kastelen en oude kerken te bezoeken. En van de eindeloze velden met zonnebloemen konden we maar geen genoeg krijgen. Kortom; dit is echt een aanrader! Gastvrouw Helen is ongelooflijk attent en zorgt ervoor dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. *****Star Review MK

Flights from Manchester to Limoges- Ryanair - Friday-Tuesday , Tuesday -Sunday or Sunday to Friday - flights costing from £28.99 each way.
Hire Car Essential at Limoges airport - from £70.00
10% deposit taken but will be refunded if no travel due to the borders being shut.

BORDEAUX - fantastic architecture and 1km long shopping street is something to see some of the finest restaurants and amazing rooftop cocktail bars and are only an hour and half from our door.
