A must for a visit, Ile d'Aix, take the ferry from Fouras but make sure you head back before the low tide otherwise you will be stuck on the island ... one of the last places for Napoleon ... just stunning

Noted as one of the prettiest villages en France, Coulon, about 40 minutes from La Miellerie is well worth a visit for a wander around or ever take a barque around the canal system .. very relaxing
