🍂 A few weeks ago, we went scouting in the Jura! We came back completely in love.

The Jura is wild, raw, and unhurried. The kind of region that doesn’t need to show off, it just pulls you in. Rolling green hills, endless vines, rivers, and charming villages that feel untouched by time.⛅️

We wandered through Arbois, got wonderfully lost on country roads, stumbled upon Château-Chalon perched above the vines, and let Alexandre welcome us at , a stunning 5-star tucked into the hills that stopped us in our tracks. Absolutely beautiful!🍃

Of course, we tasted vin jaune! If you haven’t tried it, add it to the list :)

We had the famous poulet au vin jaune et aux morilles in an amazing little restaurant, Chez Janine. Warm décor, even warmer people.🍷

🧀 And if you’re wondering, YES, of course we brought home some Comté from Fruitière 1900 in Thoiria. Obviously :)

The legendary in Nice ✨

An experience we won’t forget! We were immediately captivated by the hotel’s history and unique character. Still independently owned, it has been beautifully renovated to highlight its style, charm, and personality. For anyone who loves art and design, it’s a truly inspiring place! From 1957 to 2019, Madame Augier shaped the Negresco with a unique artistic vision. 🎨 A passionate collector, she traveled across France for exceptional pieces, making this palace truly feel like the ‘Versailles of the French Riviera.’

We were enchanted by the hotel and grateful to Clémentine for her warm welcome, which made our visit truly memorable.

We wanted to discover and highlight in Cogolin, a truly beautiful and welcoming place! The architecture has clearly been designed to enhance the experience, with elegant and unique spaces. Nothing has been left to chance, from the cellars to the tasting room overlooking the tanks, every part of the estate is designed to make the visit enjoyable!🍷

Thank you to the team for the warm welcome. We loved this experience and are happy to put the spotlight on Château Saint-Maur :)

During our short trip on the Côte d’Azur, we stopped by and what a wonderful idea that was! Thank you to the team at Château d’Esclans, for the warm welcome and such a memorable experience. We were beautifully hosted by Christian, who guided us through the estate, its history, and a lovely wine tasting!

The domain, the story behind it, and the elegance of the wines made this visit truly special. Everything felt authentic, refined, and deeply connected to the region. 🍇 We absolutely loved this experience and will definitely be happy to share it with our future clients. Thank you again for the hospitality, moments like these are what make a scouting trip so meaningful :)

Èze, what a view! The cliffs, the sea, the little streets :) You just want to stop and take it all in.

We went to Cap Ferrat and it feels so calm and elegant, like a place made for slow walks and quiet corners. The sea, the mountains, the soft Mediterranean light… it’s impossible not to feel inspired for this new year ahead. 🌅🌊
We also visited the unique Hôtel . It known for its lush gardens, terraces overlooking the sea, and amazing restaurants, including a two Michelin starred dining experience with creative mediterranean cuisine. Thank you to them for their warm welcome!

And we have to tell you about a little restaurant, we had lunch at : Le Café de la Fontaine at la Turbie, we absolutely loved it!! Simple, hearty, no-fuss cooking, perfect for enjoying local flavors on a relaxed day. After a this typical French lunch, we strolled through Menton, with its pastel houses and the scent of citrus in the air. Feeling grateful for these simple and beautiful days by the Mediterranean.

Thanks to our supplier, Robert from 1388 Travel, who guided us throughout this short trip and showed us the region in a whole new way!

We were so delighted to welcome back members of The Governors Club this fall for a bespoke Food and Wine tour in France! The guests stayed in Burgundy and Alsace, and timing was perfect to enjoy the French vineyards in all their Autumn glory 🍁🍂🍇We hope you all had a fabulous trip and we’re looking forward to welcoming you again, France still has so much to offer! 😊 Have a safe trip home and see you again soon!
