Château Marcellus Château Marcellus, a historical French 18th-century Château in the Bordeaux region The first castle on site was built in the fourteenth century.

Chateau Marcellus is located on the territory of the commune of Marcellus in the department of Lot-et-Garonne, near Bordeaux and it dominates the beautiful Garonne Valley. The land and the castle belonged until 1581 to Henri de Navarre of duché d'Albret. The medieval castle was a fortress which defended the plain of the Garonne, and of which nothing remains to this day. The construction of a new c

astle was undertaken around 1585 and the works leading to the current shape of the Chateau Marcellus were carried out between 1772 and 1778 under the direction of the architect Bonfins. Chateau Marcellus is becoming a unique place where we share our vision of high-end hospitality, based on respect for traditions, history and the art of living. We hope that the experiences lived in Château Marcellus allow our guests to feel immersed in French history and culture. Château Marcellus features a large collection of antiques, sculptures and architectural pieces from the 16th to the 19th century displayed on-site, in the Chateau, and outside, in the park. We hope you’ll enjoy the charm, elegance and comfort of our private 35-hectare Domaine.

You’ve just come down the stairs — and don’t notice it right away:
the space seems to invite you to explore its many textures.
A sunbeam lifts a barely visible lace of dust into the air.
It smells of vanilla and old wood.
On the frames, the paint blisters and peels, revealing the bare grain beneath.

A sequence of rooms bathed in half-light. Within them — silhouettes carved from the past.
This light is a riddle. In it — his signature.
A spiderweb in a sunbeam. Thinner than tulle. Woven into the frame.
Light spills across the walls.
Follow it to unravel the stenography.

Explore new formats, play with textures, creating things that catch eyes and stand beyond time.

Because true beauty isn’t just appearance -
even in shadow, art is born.

Weekends, jazz artists take the stage.
Final revelation - window-as-canvas where sky writes its memo:
edges don’t hold.

Christmas dinner is a feast for the senses, where tradition meets elegance in every dish 🎄🍴.

The table invites us to savor fresh, briny oysters, tender chicken with chestnuts, and the decadent sweetness of a velvety bûche de Noël.

Yet, for me, the true centerpiece is lamb with redcurrant sauce—a dish that marries sophistication with heartfelt nostalgia, bridging the past and present.

What’s your ultimate holiday dish ❤️? Let’s share flavors, memories, and traditions together.

What I anticipated as a charming Christmas, but what I found was something far richer and more profound.

Under the twinkling lights and within the majestic walls of Château Marcellus, I met women whose stories were as inspiring as the reasons we were all there.

That night, we became part of something greater.

We became the story. Our moments of grace, strength, and unity found their place in Hola magazine , turning into a gift — both for the world and for ourselves ✨.

Standing there, breathing in the scent of pine and hearing laughter all around, I realized that beneath the festive magic lies the true power of women’s solidarity.

Château Marcellus brought us together and made us feel that even ordinary guests could inspire and be part of something unforgettable ❣️.

There’s something special about the Yellow Room ✨

Its walls, adorned with delicate blooming patterns, radiate warmth and energy.

The space comes alive with vibrant scents of sweet grapefruit and blood orange. Their sparkling freshness awakens your senses, bringing clarity and lightness to your mood.

At its heart lies a soft golden glow, like a blend of vanilla and mango. This exquisite harmony creates an atmosphere of comfort and joy, reminiscent of long, sunlit summer days.

Studies show that surrounding yourself with art can uplift your spirit and make you happier 🏰✨.

The link between art and happiness is true for many people, not just those who consider themselves art lovers, and I believe that’s exactly what Château Marcellus offers—a place where you can recharge, reflect, and find joy in the timeless beauty that surrounds you.

For many of my guests, being here is more than just a visit. It’s an experience that encourages them to appreciate the small moments, reconnect with themselves, and embrace the quiet serenity.

I’m curious, what’s one small moment of beauty that you’ve been able to appreciate today 💫?

When you raise a glass in the grand salon, you’re not just toasting to the moment—you’re celebrating centuries of history intertwined with today’s spirit 🥂.

The beauty of this space lies in its duality. It’s like wearing a vintage dress: its charm lies in its authenticity, but the magic happens when you add a contemporary twist that makes it truly yours.

So here’s to toasting in a room that feels timeless yet alive, elegant yet welcoming. Here’s to spaces that tell stories—and to writing your own in the process ✨.

Setting the table for an intimate dinner like this one isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a true passion project for me—a chance to craft an experience 🍽️✨.

As some of you might know, I spend hours exploring wedding blogs, flipping through design magazines, and scrolling Pinterest to shape my personal style. My focus is always on timeless elegance with a touch of modern flair that feels authentic.

Many of my guests have kindly remarked that I embody the “art de vivre”, a French way of life celebrating beauty, refinement, and connection. It’s a beautiful compliment, as it reflects exactly what I hope to bring to every moment at the Château: an authentic expression of French traditions, thoughtfully adapted to modern life.

A carefully arranged table isn’t just decoration; it’s an invitation to slow down, connect, and savor the moment 🥂.

What does art de vivre mean to you?

As a woman who wears many hats — renovator, designer, host, and dreamer — Château Marcellus has been my canvas and my sanctuary.

Every corner reflects the courage it took to bring it back to life and the joy it brings me to share it with you.

For every woman who visits, I want this place to be more than just a destination. I want it to be a space where you reconnect with yourself, rediscover your hidden strength, and embrace the quiet power of femininity.

This house is more than just a building. It’s a testament to resilience and creativity — a reminder that women hold incredible power: to create, to heal, and to dream 🏰✨.
