Lavender season has arrived in Provence 💜

Across the Valensole plateau, endless violet fields stretch towards the horizon, filling the air with the scent of summer and the gentle hum of bees. 🐝 🪻

It is one of Provence’s most iconic sights - but also one to experience with care: stay on marked paths, respect the fields, and take in the beauty without leaving a trace. 🫶

A fleeting moment of colour, fragrance and pure Provençal magic. Plan your visit 👇

In the Southern Alps, spring slowly gives way to summer.

The air feels clearer, the trails open out, and the landscapes shift from snow-dusted peaks to wildflower meadows, mountain lakes and endless horizons.

Here, nature takes centre stage - in the silence of a valley, the shimmer of an alpine lake, or the first steps of a hike beneath the peaks.

A breath of pure mountain air, in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. 🏔️

The Côte d’Azur is not only sea views and sunshine - it is also a place of remarkable heritage.

From elegant villas and Mediterranean gardens to old towns shaped by centuries of history, the Riviera reveals a more timeless side at every turn.

Wander through shaded courtyards, admire architecture from another era, and let the stories of the coast unfold beyond the shoreline.

This is the Côte d’Azur at its most graceful: cultural, luminous and full of character. ✨

What if you slowed down… properly? 💫

Set off on a 5-day slow adventure through Provence, travelling by bike and on foot from Pont-Saint-Esprit to Avignon and Carpentras. 🏛️🚴

Along the way: peaceful country roads, vineyards, honey-coloured stone, historic villages, the Chartreuse de Valbonne, Avignon’s iconic heritage, the Île de la Barthelasse, and the timeless charm of the Comtat Venaissin. 🏰

Pause in Carpentras for culture and sweet local treats, then take a detour to Pernes-les-Fontaines to meet local artisans and wander among the oak trees.🥐

By bike, on foot, and at your own pace, Provence reveals another side of itself: slower, more intimate, more alive. ✨

🌿🏡 Maison Foncin, a hidden treasure overlooking the Mediterranean 🌊✨

Some places are worth the walk... and Maison Foncin is one of them.

Perched 128 metres above sea level on the Corniche des Maures, this white bastide sits between sky and sea, surrounded by woodland typical of the Mediterranean coast.

Starting from the Maison de la Nature, follow a guided 2.5 hour walk through the Massif des Maures, with fragrant maquis, sweeping sea views and the story of Maison Foncin and the arrival of the Train des Pignes in Cavalaire.

A peaceful way to slow down, reconnect with nature and discover a lesser-known piece of the Côte d’Azur’s coastal heritage. 🌿👣

Spring has returned to Lake Serre-Ponçon 💙

The snow is melting from the peaks, the sunshine warms the landscape, and the lake gradually rises once again, bringing this spectacular setting back to life ✨

In spring, the area feels even more magical: the Chanteloube viaduct reflected in the water, nature awakening all around, and soft light illuminating the surrounding mountains. A truly unmissable spot at this time of year 🌿
