A sad fact ! Artists are not ok right now. Entertainment administration is not ok. Anyone who works in any type of entertainment and support personnel of the arts (FOH, BOH, Ushers, Box of Office, Ticket Takers, Stagehand’s, Production Crews, Electricians, Lighting, Sound, Musicians, Teamsters, Security, Wardrobe, Bartenders, Merchandise, Hairdressers etc...) are not ok.

Broadway is closed until 2021, Cirque is filing for bankruptcy, Feld laid off 90% of its workforce permanently, cruise ship performers are out of work, theme park performers have no idea when they will be recalled. Performing arts organizations such as schools, choirs, theaters, orchestras, dance companies are all trying to figure out on a daily basis how to keep going and employ anyone they can in the field.

If you know anyone in the arts industry or support personnel of the arts reach out to them. Give them a virtual hug and make sure we all support each other till the end. Donate to arts organizations and keep arts alive.
Our hearts and souls need it NOW more than ever.
