This evening the French government updated the country on the current COVID-19 situation and the timeline for winding down restrictions. Here are the key points from that press conference…
The Pass Vaccinal will be implimented from Monday 24th Jan. Head to our website (link in bio) if you’re unsure on what this is.
Night clubs will reopen and standing consumption in bars can recommence from 16th Feb.
Vaccine boosters will be open to 12-17 year olds from Monday 24th Jan (note, it won't be compulsory or a requirement for the PV)
If the situation improves sharply and durably, the Pass Vaccinal could be suspended altogether

It's been a strange time since March 17th when France issued Lockdown.
Well, the bike parks are now officially open in Les Gets, Morzine is getting ready and the pubs and restaurants are now open for business, observing Covid 19 rules to keep you safe, the scenery is stunning, as always.

CORONAVIRUS: Here’s the good news. As confirmed by the Mairie de Morzine-Avoriaz this morning, there are NO CASES of Coronavirus in Morzine or the surrounding area. The situation is changing rapidly and our local schools are closely monitored. There’s one cluster of the virus in the Haute Savoie (in Balme de Sillingy near Annecy, 85km from Morzine) but across France gatherings of more than 1000 people have been prohibited. So for now, is OPEN FOR BUSINESS, the snow keeps falling and the pistes are excellence. If you’re planning a trip to our valley this spring, you’ll still have a wonderful holiday.
