Sunday snow line ❄️

If you actually read these bits then please remember that the view you see here in winter is a really good example of ‘Instagram vs reality’.
Like that skinny woman on the beach, when she’s really just sucking her tummy in next to a picture on her tv, this view from my balcony isn’t a reflection of the wider picture.

We’re at 1050m and the top of Pleney is 1550m, so we can’t see what it’s like up there. It’s a shame we don’t have snow to village level, but the Stade and Piste B runs are open to ski down and you can put your trainers on to go to après, so find the wins where you can.

Everything up there is good, ski all day, have a good lunch, watch the sun go down, just try not to panic.

There’s some fresh snow over Pleney this morning and it’s dumped again in Avoriaz.

If you focus on the positives you’ll have the best time. If you’re grumpy grumbler then you’ll always be disappointed.
