“We have just completed our epic cycle ride from the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean Sea. After visiting Bordeaux, one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites situated near the Atlantic coast, we set off from the entry to the canal de Garonne at Castets en Dorthe, our journey took us through the picturesque countryside along the banks of the canal to the beautiful pink city of Toulouse. From here we followed the tow paths which wend their way through the vineyards of the Languedoc to the ancient city of Agde on the Mediterranean Coast. Not a trip for the faint hearted but enjoyed by all with many stories to be re-told over a glass or two of local wine".
