My little cottage in the town centre! This 60M2 two floor building has been lovingly restored and converted from a 1918 stables to a perfect hideaway in the centre of Mulhouse. Located in the historical area called “La Fonderie”, it is a 5 minute walk from the train station and into the town centre. Les Ecuries sits to the side of the main house and is entirely enclosed in a pretty courtyard whic

h I will be planting as an English garden this spring. It is very quiet and hard to imagine that you are in the centre of town. The ground floor is a 30M2 open space with a fully equipped kitchen including a Nespresso machine, a dining table which seats 5 and a comfortable sitting area to relax or watch TV. The sofa bed can accommodate two children or one adult. A toilet is located behind the kitchen. The first floor is a 30M2 bedroom full of character with a large double bed 180*200cm and an “office corner” with a desk if you happen to be here for professional reasons! There is of course broadband internet. The bathroom leads off the bathroom and has a good powerful shower, nice fluffy towels and plenty of space for all your toiletries. We have a bike shelter and parking in the street (paying during the weekdays). We have a great butcher, fruit and veg shop, seafood restaurant, Italian deli, bakery and an awarding winning patisserie all just a stone’s throw away. We even have a hairdresser right next door which can come in handy! The main house looks out onto the Rhine-Rhone canal and there are many lovely walks and bike rides. Everything in Mulhouse is easily accessible by bus or tram which leaves from the station and the train-tram will take you to the beginning of the Route Des Vins in the Thann valley for a walk in the Vosges or some wine-tasting! It is the perfect location from which to explore Alsace and even to hop into Switzerland and Germany which are just 30 minutes away. Colmar 30 mins, Strasbourg 1 hour. Nous avons passé un week-end enchanteur aux "Ecuries" ! Le gîte est très bien situé : au calme, au bord du canal. Il est niché dans une petite cour intérieure, à côté de la maison principale, ce qui l'isole de la rue et forme un petit "cocon" très chaleureux. La décoration est cosy, feutrée ; on se sent immédiatement chez soi ! L'appartement est très propre et confortable. Sarah est une hôtesse fabuleuse : très accueillante, prévenante, attentionnée, de bon conseil et très disponible ! Un grand merci à vous, Sarah !!! Si vous êtes de passage à Mulhouse, il faut absolument découvrir ce petit nid douillet !!

Avez-vous déjà découvert ce nouveau lieu de Noël à Mulhouse - salon de thé à partir de 14h30 et dîner le soir - ? La féerie des "Tables de Noël" ou "Noël Stuwa"... Incroyablement magique...
Direction parc de la Bourse, dans l'ancien "Bistrot d'Oscar", à gauche du bâtiment de la Société Industrielle de Mulhouse, 1 avenue du Maréchal Joffre...
Salon de thé de 14h30 à minuit tous les jours (sauf lundi) avec de sublimes tartes, brownies au chocolat, torches au marron à tomber... et "souper hivernal" le soir (sur réservation au 06 23 32 61 74).
La magie de Noël à Mulhouse passe par un moment dans ce lieu... Osez pousser la porte de la féerie !
