The "legs" (or tears) of a w**e don't tell you whether it's good or bad. They mainly reflect the w**e's alcohol content and, in some cases, its residual sugar.
When you swirl your glass, alcohol evaporates faster than water, creating surface tension differences that cause the w**e to form droplets running down the glass.
So, can a w**e with beautiful legs be disappointing?
Absolutely.
Can an exceptional w**e have barely noticeable legs?
Also yes.
