A heron stopped by and left his footprints across the fresh membrane. 🐦

We're calling it an unofficial site approval.

Sad to hear of the passing of David Hockney.

Although born in Yorkshire, he spent many years living and working in Normandy, drawing inspiration from its landscapes, seasons and ever-changing light.

His paintings helped many people see the beauty in everyday countryside scenes that locals here often take for granted.

Today, the Norman countryside he loved remains as beautiful as ever.

Thank you for helping the world see it. 🎨🌿
