Planning family travel can feel like a full-time job. Luckily, it’s ours.

We don’t just book family holidays, we design them around real life. Because we’ve been there: wrangling strollers through airports, managing naps between museum stops, finding restaurants with something for everyone (even picky eaters).

📍 Destination strategy. Amalfi Coast might look great on Instagram but we’ll steer you to Portugal if it means a smoother, more enjoyable trip for little ones.⁠

🧭 Trip pacing. Breaks are built in, energy levels are considered, and no one’s melting down in front of the Colosseum.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We’ve got kids too. Every advisor on our team travels with family, so we know the potential pitfalls and how to avoid them.

🛏️ Smart room setups. We know which hotels have true connecting rooms or suites that work for bigger families.⁠

🍝 Child-friendly dining recs. Think restaurants that feel special and have a menu your 5-year-old will love.⁠

For me, food is more than fuel - it’s memory. Culture. Curiosity. It’s often the thing I remember most about a destination. A perfect spoonful. A street vendor’s secret recipe. A meal that shifts your whole idea of flavor.
These three countries - Japan, Peru, and Denmark have set a new bar in my recent travels. Each one offers a different kind of magic:
🇵🇪 Peru for bold flavors and its beautiful Nikkei fusion cuisine
🇯🇵 Japan for its quiet mastery and deep respect for craft
🇩🇰 Copenhagen for its playful mix of street eats and Scandi indulgence (still dreaming of that cardamom bun...)

Whether it’s a sushi counter in Tokyo or a cevicheria in Lima, these experiences remind me: the best travel stories usually start with a bite.

**Read this before booking any hotel without us**

Many of you don’t think of us for a simple hotel booking. It’s super easy to jump online and book yourself, and you know exactly what you want so why get us involved and complicate things, right? WRONG ‼️

Here’s why you should reach out to us for all of your five ⭐️ hotel needs:

✔️ We will VIP you — there is a strong chance that we book said hotel far more often than you do. We have leverage and will use that to your advantage.

✔️ We have intel — and lots of experience traveling to and booking hotels across the world. If we think you’re making a bad choice, we’ll let you know.

✔️ Perks — sounds like marketing fluff but there is real value here.

Let us break it down:

☕️ daily breakfast: when is the last time you’ve gotten out of a restaurant for less than $50? Free sounds better, no?

💰 $100 resort credit: it doesn’t sound like much but it will take care of those post kids bedtime drinks at the bar or that much needed 30 minute massage.

⏰ Early check-in : we’ll reach out to the hotel and let them know your ETA and request an early check in if needed. Scratch that off of your to-do list.

✔️ We are real people who want to make you happy. A booking engine won’t give you that.

And remember, there is no stay too small. You are not bothering us by sending a quick email to ask if it makes sense to book through us — if it’s a 5 star hotel there is a 99% chance they’re a preferred partner and we can book and add value.

Before founding JTT, I wasn’t into New Year’s resolutions, annual recaps or even looking back much at all. While I’m still a very forward thinking person (enneagram 7 anyone?), I now enjoy scrolling through the camera roll, watching our trip highlights and analyzing spreadsheets. Who have I become??

What I love the most about looking back, is the opportunity to revisit those beautiful views, laugh out loud moments and even those mistakes that I will never make again ☠️

I also have come to love digging through the data. It is wild to think that after 4 years, where this business as come – from those first months during the depths of the pandemic when booking or taking a weekend getaway was a big deal to 2023, where we’ve planned over 280 trips—70% of those for repeat & referral clients 💫

But what is most exciting as always, is that we can play a part in our client’s recaps, travel memories and dreams. So here’s to looking back and forward, and to a prosperous New Year 🥂
