One of my favorite experiences in Sorrento? Getting out on the water.

Seeing the coastline from the sea, swimming in crystal-clear water, and discovering hidden coves made this one of the highlights of our trip. Sometimes the best views aren’t from land.

If you’re planning a trip to Sorrento, I can’t recommend a boat tour enough!

I’d book this one again in a heartbeat.

Scam being reported in Rome- Can driver says credit card machine isn't working. You pay cash. He returns one of the bills saying it's torn and says the bank won't accept it. You take the bill and exchange it with a new one. You realize after you get out, they swapped the bills and the one you got handed back was counterfeit. (Read words at the top of the bill) travel

How to check in at European airports ✈️

European airports work a little differently than many U.S. airports — and this one step makes everything easier.

1️⃣ Start by locating the large departures board
2️⃣ Find your flight
3️⃣ Look for the column labeled “Check-in”. That number is your check-in zone.
4️⃣ Head to that zone to check bags and receive boarding passes

72 hours in Paris — birthday edition, part 2 🇫🇷✨

Part 1 was cozy and full at the Homestead with my kids.
Part 2 looked like birthday candles, long dinners,
escargots, Saint-Ouen treasure hunting, and French butter tucked into my bag for the flight home.

It was rushed.
It was full.
It was exactly what it needed to be.

Paris doesn’t always have to be slow to be special. Sometimes it’s about celebrating where you are — then carrying a little piece of it home with you.

Domestic travel really is a different vibe.
Arrived just 1 hour and 20 minutes before takeoff ✈️. Curbside bag check? Done ✅. PreCheck? A breeze 💨. Now I’m in my seat with snacks 🍿, a drink 🥤, and zero stress.

No trams. No days of planning. And no need to wear an outfit that doubles as pajamas for an overnight flight 😴.
Just a quick hop to spend time with people who matter ❤️.

🎭✨ Les Misérables in Paris – A Night to Remember! 🇫🇷

Last night, we had the incredible experience of watching Les Misérables performed in its native language, French, right in the heart of Paris. The passion, the music, and the story came alive in a way that gave us goosebumps. There’s nothing quite like seeing this masterpiece where it all began.

For those not fluent in French, they have glasses you can rent which show English subtitles!

When you’re traveling, don’t just visit the landmarks—immerse yourself in the culture. Experiences like this are what make trips unforgettable.
