Behind every unforgettable vacation is a travel advisor who is passionate about turning travel dreams into lifelong memories. This week, we're excited to introduce you to Michelle Rascoe!
Michelle has been a part of the Beacon & Burgundy Travel family since the beginning, but her passion for travel started long before she became a travel advisor. Growing up in North Carolina, she was the kind of person who would pick up travel guidebooks and read them just for fun, dreaming about the places she'd one day explore. Today, she's turning that same curiosity and enthusiasm into unforgettable vacations for her clients.
When she's not planning amazing getaways, Michelle enjoys diving into 1920s detective novels, belting out karaoke, giving back to her community as a proud Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, and most importantly spending time with her family.
Her travel journey began with a love of Disney; however, she's expanding her expertise into ocean cruising and looks forward to exploring the world of river cruises next. She loves learning about new destinations just as much as she loves sharing that knowledge with her clients, helping them feel confident and excited about every trip they plan together. 🛳
Michelle believes travel is about more than checking destinations off a list, it's about discovering new cultures, experiencing history firsthand, and creating memories that stay with you long after you've returned home. When asked about her favorite destination, she'll tell you Japan…without hesitation. As a self-proclaimed history buff, she was captivated by the country's incredible blend of ancient traditions and modern life. From historic neighborhoods to breathtaking temples, exciting cities, and world-class theme parks, Michelle believes Japan is a destination that's impossible to experience in just one visit. Every season offers something new, making it a place you'll want to return to again and again. 🌏
