Today we have the pleasure to present to you Sara Feiz, our sommelier who is our special guest! She will host the wine tour, and give us some tips and tricks about wine tasting!

She is a Canadian originally from Iran and a resident of Paris since 2012. Sara started her food and wine studies at Cordon Bleu in 2015 and her passion has never faded. Sara devoted herself to wine since 2017 working in many aspects of the wine world: trading, tasting, judging and wine education. She holds an engineering degree from university of Toronto, an MBA from HEC Paris and received her WSET diploma in 2020. Before wine she held positions in the financial markets and asset management industries in Canada and France. Outside wine, Sara indulges herself in cooking, spending time with her young daughter, running or reading...

Good morning! Today it's time to talk about numbers. 📊

In 2020 " the collapse in international travel represents an estimated loss of USD 1.3 trillion in export revenues - more than 11 times the loss recorded during the 2009 global economic crisis. The crisis has put between 100 and 120 million direct tourism jobs at risk, many of them in small and medium-sized enterprises. "

This situation is far from being solved: the distribution of vaccines proceed slowly and most of the countries in the world keep mantaining travel restrictions in order to limit the virus diffusion the more is possible.

That's why we choose to join the Travel From Home project: give visibility to tourism workers is one of the ways to help them to start again! ✈️

Hey hey!:) I'm Alexey and today is my turn to introduce myself.
I love travelling and tend to believe that it is a way not only to discover other cultures but also to learn a lot about ourselves. No matter where my destination was, I was always meeting great people and finding some fun adventures.
Therefore, I'm grateful for the opportunity, we have, to make our online tours. I think we will make travelling a little more accessible again

It's my turn to introduce myself!

I am Domitille, student and compulsive traveler. Times are hard for many people in this time of pandemic and I am one of those who dreams of being able to travel again. However, it is urgent to reflect on our conception of travel because everything will be transformed in the aftermath of the pandemic.
