We’ve waited a long time for this one!

We’re always on the lookout for apartments in Florence, yet very few have the combination of things we desire: an exceptional setting, interiors with character, and the feeling that a home has been created with genuine care rather than simply furnished for rental.

What I love most about Palazzo Favard is that it’s elegant without feeling stuffy. It’s on the piano nobile, so the ceilings are high and light streams through the tall windows overlooking the Arno River.

The generous proportions of the rooms and the furnishings, collected over many years, give you the feeling of being right at home in a historic Florentine family residence.

The apartment has five bedrooms and five baths, a Turkish bath in the principal suite, daily maid service, a lift and an English-speaking concierge on call. There is also an additional bedroom and bath for a nanny or other household staff.

A villa can be the perfect option for when you need a couple of hours to yourself every day…. Or when you can’t take off work, but don’t want to be left out.

The right villa can make all the difference.

But not are all equally suited for telework.
If you’re planning to work remotely during your stay, here are a few things worth thinking about:

✓ Dedicated workspace — not every “desk” is actually comfortable for a few hours of work.
✓ Reliable Wi-Fi — especially if you’ll be on calls. In some rural areas, speeds can vary or slow down with multiple users streaming or working at once.
