Summer in Churchill, Manitoba reveals the wonders of Canada’s sub-Arctic.
The waters of Hudson Bay fill with thousands of beluga whales, offering unforgettable opportunities to view them by boat, or kayak beside them. Polar bears may be spotted resting on the shoreline between seasons while clear nights bring the chance to witness the northern lights, visible in the region up to 300 days a year.
Add historic sites like Prince of Wales Fort, remarkable Inuit art at the Itsanitaq Museum, and refined dining experiences, and Churchill becomes a destination where wildlife, culture, and luxury adventure meet.
Before continuing north, travellers often spend time in Winnipeg, with highlights including boutique hotels, the Winnipeg Art Gallery- Qaumajuq, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and Assiniboine Park Conservancy’s Journey to Churchill.
