Paris museums open past 12am for FREE!😍
Every year, on the third Saturday in May, museums all across Europe keep their doors open late as part of the Night of Museums (Nuit Des Musées)🌒
During this incredible evening, cultural spaces and museums in over 130 cities offer special exhibitions, performances, workshops, and more, as well as (generally) free entry! 😍✨
30 museums and cultural spaces in Paris participate each year so make sure to pay Paris a visit! 🙌
Here are some highlights 👇👇
1: Centre Pompidou - free from 6pm - 1am - surprise performances, DJ sets and normal entry to exhibits. No reservation required.
2. Musée National Jean-Jacques Henner: This luxurious mansion-turned-museum will host a free concert at 7:30pm - seats will need to be reserved.
3. Musée Du Luxembourg: This little-known Paris museum is hidden away in the Luxembourg Gardens and you can visit it for free from 7:30pm - 11:30pm. They’ll also have a special show called ‘The Three Ages of Sport’ on the hour every hour between 8pm - 10pm.
4. L’Hôtel de La Marine: From 6:30pm - 10pm, this stunning 18th Century space will welcome visitors for free! They also have a temporary exhibition called ‘A Taste for the Renaissance: A Dialogue Between Collections’ which is a must see!
