This is Ricardo Martins Batista, he is from our beloved Rio de Janeiro and he is biking around the world in a bamboo bike!
He started in march of 2016 and so far he did 17.000km.
It looks crazy, no?
During his passage in Paris he enjoyed a bike tour with our sister Go Bike Paris.

The Mayrink Chapel is located at National Tijuca's Park. It was built in 1850 and the pink color symbolized the family staus in the time of the coffee barons.
The chapel use to have original works by Candido Portinari, which after being stolen, were recovered and donated to the National Museum of Fine Arts. Today, replicas of the originals are featured on the altar of the chapel.

She is one of the case we most like: people that have re-learnded how to ride a bike - after many years, sometimes decades without to bike - just to participate in one of our tours.
