From the coastal town of Cannes, there are some lovely island excursions. The closest islands are the Iles de Lerins. Boats leave from Cannes several times a day. The larger of the 2 islands, Ste. Marguerite, houses the fortress and state prison, which in 1687 received the famous "Man in the Iron Mask" character. The smaller island is St. Honorat, which is the private property of the monastery but open for walking and swimming. The water is crystal clear around the islands, perfect for snorkeling. It is just a 20 minute boat ride and well worth it.

Villa Olivaison

This incredible property is located in a large private Olive grove (7,500m2) very close to the village of Valbonne. It is separated into 2 villas, each with 3 bedrooms. Both villas are designed with a modern, open feel. The main villa has many exterior walls which are actually large sliding glass doors that open to let the peaceful garden feel inside. There is enormous amounts of light in the open plan living area. There are 2 comfortable interior seating areas as well as seating furniture on the terrace just outside the living area. The modern kitchen also opens onto the large living area. It is fully equipped with all necessary appliances and cookery to prepare large meals for everyone staying on the property. There is a great shaded terrace directly outside the kitchen that has a large table perfect for everyone to enjoy an outdoor meal together.

Sleeping accommodation is very comfortable. The main villa has 3 comfortable size bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower; two of its exterior walls open onto the garden with large sliding glass doors. The second double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bathtub/shower and also opens onto the garden. The third bedroom has 3 single beds, opens onto the garden and has its bathroom, with shower, directly across the hall.

The second villa is independent and a bit smaller than the main villa. It is also very light and comfortable. It has an open plan living area with an adjacent kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to prepare meals for a smaller group of people. There is also a private garden/terrace where you can enjoy outdoor meals. There are three bedrooms in this villa along with 2 bathrooms.

The magnificent pool is located in between the two villas and has a great terrace surrounding it. There are many pool loungers on which to relax and soak up the sun. For those wishing to take their meals by the pool , there are also table and chairs. The very large, flat garden is great for children of all ages. It is completely enclosed; they have a huge space to explore. Overall this is a fantastic property, private, comfortable and just a really lovely place from which to explore the Cote d'Azur.

Villa Les Vulons

Villa Les Vulons is located just a few minutes drive from the beaches of Juan Les Pins or approximately a 20 minute walk. It enjoys, great sea views from its hillside position, in a quiet, residential area.This luxurious villa has seven double bedrooms and six bathrooms all beautifully fitted giving a very modern look. The master bedroom on the first floor opens on to the garden and has large ensuite bathroom. Two of the second floor bedrooms open onto an adjoining terrace which enjoys the sea views.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a huge cooker and all other appliances it also has granite counter surfaces. There are patio doors leading to the outside dining area and swimming pool. The dining room is next to the kitchen and then a few steps down is the large and very comfortable lounge. Throughout the villa there are all the latest sound and television systems with very high quality sound speakers. There is also an indoor gym perfect for fitness and exercise enthusiasts.

Outside there are approximately 3,000 square meters of gardens and a wonderful pool which is surrounded by decking for sunbathing. Villa Cap d'Antibes

Villa Cap d'Antibes is an incredible villa in a fantastic location. Cap d'Antibes is a beautiful small peninsula, located between Juan Les Pins and Antibes. The villa is just a 5 minute walk to the beach and center of Juan Les Pins. Antibes center is approximately a 20 minute walk from the villa.

This luxurious villa is such a wonderful holiday property. It is located on a private road, quiet and secluded, yet so close to the beach, coastal towns and all amenities.

The garden and pool area are a true paradise. The heated, overflow pool is surrounded by decking with sun loungers and many comfortable lounge furniture areas. There is a fully equipped, shaded pool house and full summer kitchen. This place is excellent for any meal, overlooks the pool and is very private. The grounds are well manicured, green and colorful. The whirlpool bath and sauna are on a higher terrace, again completely private, and with great views over to the Med Sea. The roof-top terrace is a fantastic place for open views to the sea and is a great entertainment area. It has a large shaded area under which there is a large table with chairs and a long bar; perfect for evening drinks and get togethers.

The interior of the villa has been completely renovated to a high standard and contemporary style. There is a luxurious living area with Sky Satellite TV. The kitchen is modern and opens onto a second living area which opens onto the pool area. There is also a separate luxury dining room which also opens onto the pool area. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor; one twin bedroom and one smaller double bedroom. These bedrooms share a bathroom with shower.

There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor. Two of these bedrooms have double beds and open onto a shared balcony with great open views. These bedrooms share a bathroom with bathtub/shower. The master bedroom suite is large and has an ensuite bathroom with bathtub and shower. It has a large adjoining covered room which is equipped with gym equipment. This room opens onto a private balcony.

This is a great property to enjoy on holiday, with many different outdoor lounge areas, entertainment areas and luxurious interior; perfect for a holiday on the Cap d'Antibes.

Villa Voile Blanches is a truly luxurious villa, just a minute walk from the centre of the exclusive village of Mougins, it enjoys the best of both worlds- the convienience of village life with renowned restaurants, cafes and boutiques as well as the privacy and seclusion that a large private villa provides. This beautiful villa has five bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms, a wonderful sea view to the Bay of Cannes and Ile de Lerins. The accomodation is laid out on four different levels. The entry level has a very open and spacious living room with beautiful arched windows offering the great sea views. There is a baby grand piano and comfortable sofa and armchairs. The dining area has a large table seating up to 10 people. The well equipped kitchen , with quality appliances is open plan which also opens onto the same balcony adjoining the lounge. Upstairs, is the huge master bedroom. There is a king size double bed (2mX2m) and it has its own private lounge, with comfy chairs. The ensuite has been luxuriously designed , it has a large bath, shower and twin hand basins. The bedroom and sitting room enjoys a double aspect balcony. The second double bedroom is also on this floor and faces the village.

It also has ensuite with bath and toilet. On the floor below the entry level, two further double bedrooms can be found both with sea facing views and ensuite shower rooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been tastefully decrated and have a bright and open feel. On this floor there is also a family room , ideal for playing some of the games provided or watching a dvd or satellite t.v. This room opens onto the wonderful dining terrace, perfect for meals at all hours under the wrought iron gondala with great views. Also, next to the family room is the utility room with washer, dryer and ironing area. On the lowest level is the pool area, summer kitchen and fifth bedroom. The pool has a beautiful non-slip stone patio surround, with colourful shrubs and flowers to admire. The summer kitchen is very convienient being close to the pool for preparing lunches etc. in the simple but functional outbuilding. Between the pool and summer kitchen is a special garden lounge area, cushioned chairs, it is perfect place for an aperitif , early evening. Between the lowest level of the house and the summer kitchen is the fifth bedroom , it is the smallest of the five and hasa seperate outdoor entrance. This may be suitable for a nanny or visiting guests wanting some privacy. It also has an ensuite shower bathroom.

The comfortable and modern living area opens onto a large terrace which has an awning for shade and outside furniture for meals and relaxing. The open plan living/dining area is large and bright and has fantastic views both during the day and at night. There is a separate, fully equipped kitchen next to the dining area; it has views of the Alps and Sea. The sleeping accommodation is also spacious with 3 good size bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large double bed and ensuite bathroom with bathtub/shower, sink and toilet. This bedroom opens onto the second terrace which has the same great views as from the main terrace. The second double bedroom also opens onto this second terrace. The third bedroom has 2 single beds and views onto the Alps and Sea. There is a second bathroom which is shared between the 2 bedrooms; this bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.

The apartment has beautiful finishings, such as wood floors, as well as modern conveniences such as air conditioning, wifi and English satellite TV. The location is fantastic. Although the apartment is very quiet, located on the 5th floor and well built for no noise, it is also at the doorstep of the beaches, many restaurants, cafes, shops... It is possible to rent water sports equipment at the beach, walk to the train station in 5 minutes for access anywhere on the Cote d'Azur, walk the boardwalk towards Nice or Antibes stopping at smaller villages along the way... these are just some of the wonderful activities and sites you can enjoy at this wonderful holiday apartment on the Cote d'Azur.
