If you’re visiting the Arcachon Bay, there’s one thing you have to try: oysters straight from the producer 🦪.

I came to Perlostrea, where oyster farmer Clément Deneuvic puts his passion and expertise into every oyster.

In 2026, his work was recognized with a Silver Medal at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris for his fine oysters from the Arcachon–Cap Ferret area.

I tried his No. 4 with fresh local shrimp 🦐 and everything was absolutely delicious.

Of course, I paired it with a good glass of chilled white wine 🍷.

Sitting by the bay, enjoying oysters just a few steps from where they were raised, this is exactly the kind of authentic experience I love discovering 😊.

Who said you can’t enjoy pastries with less sugar?

Definitely not Alixe Bornon, the founder of Les Belles Envies.

Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at just 13, she created a pastry shop where everyone can enjoy French pastries with a controlled glycemic index — without compromising on taste.

I tried their signature creation, the chocolate passion fruit egg — a beautiful dessert combining the intensity of chocolate with the freshness of mango passion fruit.

Today, her mother Pascale continues this beautiful adventure.

Paris is hiding a brioche spot you probably don’t know.

And it might change the way you see brioche 😌.

This is Le BAB, created by Margaux Aycard in 2019, a chef trained at the prestigious culinary school Ferrandi.

Margaux became a head chef at just 22,
before launching her own concept.

It is the first artisanal brioche bar in Paris.

Her idea is to reinvent brioche and babka in both sweet and savory versions.

Everything is made fresh every morning, with no additives, no preservatives — just real craftsmanship.

Her work has even been awarded by the City of Paris.

I tried two brioches.

A savory one with turkey bacon
and a sweet babka
with orange blossom and crème pâtissière.

Rich, buttery, crispy, fluffy 😋.

If you thought brioche was basic… think again 😉.

Today I tasted some macarons by two French macaron champions!

This is Le Jardin Sucré, a beautiful pastry shop in the 17th area, created by Mélanie and Arnaud Mathez👩🏻‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳.

This spot is a must for pastry lovers 🍰.

I tried pistachio, rose-raspberry, chocolate, and yuzu macarons — perfectly soft, not too sweet, with that delicate texture I love.

You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, with refined and seasonal flavors.

I also went for the flan, it was so yummy- creamy, with a delicious vanilla flavor 😍

I think I just found the most creative cheesecake spots in Paris 🍰

This is Cheesy cakes, a lovely pastry shop that opened a couple of months ago in the 11th arrondissement entirely dedicated to cheesecake.

Behind this concept is Greek chef Spiros, a true cheesecake enthusiast who has been creating unique desserts for years.

After building his reputation in Amsterdam since 2018, he opened his first Paris location on rue de la roquette.

What makes this place special is the variety: there are dozens of different cheesecakes.

New York style, burnt cheesecake, no-bake versions, fruit, chocolate, classic or completely original creations.

Spiros constantly reinvents his recipes with the seasons and his inspiration, and over the years, he has created more than 250 different flavors.

I got to try 5 different ones — chocolate, fruity flavors, crème brûlée.

Everything looks so beautiful, it really makes you want to try everything.
They’re not too sweet, just perfectly balanced.

My favorites were crème brûlée, the tahini chocolate and the raspberry 😋.

All the cards you see on the walls are little messages left by customers from all over the world 🌍💛

Spiros trained at Lenôtre, which really shows in the technique and precision.

And if you need another reason to come: July 30th is National Cheesecake Day, and he’ll be offering around 20 special flavors!

If you’re a cheesecake lover, this is definitely a spot to discover in Paris.
