You ever stumble into something while traveling that completely surprises you… even on a rainy day? 🌧️⛪✨

That was me in Messina standing in the rain in front of the Messina Cathedral Bell Tower waiting for the clock to strike noon.

Umbrella in hand. Gray skies overhead. And then the bells started ringing 🔔✨

The clock chimed through the square, echoing against the cathedral and the wet cobblestone streets. Even without the sunshine, it felt so cinematic. One of those slow, peaceful travel moments where you just stand there and take it all in.

Honestly, the rain made it even more romantic. Moodier. Quieter. It felt like I had stumbled into a little slice of authentic Sicily instead of a postcard moment.

That is what I love about Europe. You plan the bucket list cities, but it is the simple, unexpected experiences that stay with you 🇮🇹💛

Ever dreamed of visiting Paris? 🥐✨🗼

Let me tell you something… sometimes the most magical trips are the ones you almost don’t take.

I was traveling around Europe and decided last minute to add Paris to my itinerary. I literally flew in and out for the DAY from Barcelona. Sounds crazy, right? But it was completely attainable ✈️

Morning croissants. Afternoon strolls along the Seine. Golden hour at the Eiffel Tower. Bucket list officially CHECKED 🗼✔️

And the best part? I found an amazing photographer on Airbnb experiences who met me at the Eiffel Tower and captured the dreamiest photos. Proof that sometimes you just have to say yes and figure the rest out later 💫📸

Paris is romantic. It is iconic. It is the kind of place that makes you feel like the main character. And now that I have been… I already want to go back again.

If not… consider this your sign.

Having a valid passport issued through the United States Department of State means you are always one “let’s book it” text away from an international trip. Weekend in Mexico? Girls trip to Europe? Surprise honeymoon upgrade? YES PLEASE 💃🏽🌎

Here’s what you need to know 👇🏼

✨ How to apply
You’ll apply through the official U.S. Department of State website:
👉 https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

First time applicants must apply in person at an approved passport acceptance facility, and many post offices qualify.

You’ll need:
• Form DS 11 completed but not signed until you are there
• Proof of U.S. citizenship such as a birth certificate or naturalization certificate
• Valid photo ID
• Passport photo
• Payment for fees

📸 Passport photo tip: Many post offices, pharmacies, and shipping stores offer compliant photos. No filters. No smiling. Neutral background.

⏳ Processing times
Routine service typically takes 6 to 8 weeks.
Expedited service is about 2 to 3 weeks and includes an additional fee.

If you have travel within 14 days, you may qualify for an urgent appointment at a passport agency.

📅 How long is it valid?
• Adults 16 and older: valid for 10 years
• Under 16: valid for 5 years

⚠️ Important: Many countries require your passport to be valid for at least SIX MONTHS beyond your travel dates. If your passport expires within 6 months of your trip, you may be denied boarding.

💡 Why it is beneficial to have one:
• Last minute international travel opportunities
• Cruise bookings
• Destination weddings
• Work opportunities
• Acts as a second form of federal ID

Have you ever wanted to go to Antelope Canyon? 🤍🌄✨

The first time I visited Antelope Canyon was during Covid and it was truly unforgettable. Watching the light pour through the canyon walls and seeing the colors shift from deep orange to soft gold 🧡🌅 is something I will never forget. It is one of those places that reminds you just how incredible Mother Nature really is 🌎🍃

I am slightly obsessed with Arizona in general 🌵 The desert sunsets. The red rocks. The peaceful energy. It just hits different ✨

This would make the perfect weekend getaway or even a longer adventure ✈️🚗 Fly into Phoenix or stay in Scottsdale, then road trip up through Sedona to take in those mountain views 🏜️⛰️ before heading north to explore the canyon. Adventure and relaxation all in one trip 💛
