Remember the Edinburgh Airport luggage collection service I shared recently? 🧳

There’s good news – it’s now available to Lufthansa passengers too! ✈️

The service originally launched for easyJet passengers and allows eligible travellers to have their luggage collected and checked in before arriving at the airport.

That means you can:

🙌 Arrive at Edinburgh Airport bag-free
✈️ Skip bag drop
➡️ Head straight to security

A handy little option for making airport day that bit easier – particularly if you’re travelling as a family or have lots of luggage!

Abu Dhabi wasn’t particular high on my list…and now it absolutely is. 😂✈️

This week I attended the Experience Abu Dhabi Roadshow at The Corinthian Club in Glasgow and got the chance to meet hotels, attractions and experience providers from across the destination.

And I learned SO much.

I think I’d always thought of Abu Dhabi mainly as luxury hotels and sunshine — but there is so much more to it.

Family theme parks and attractions, culture, beaches, incredible hotels, adventure, shopping, golf, relaxation… and SO much still to come.

The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi opens later this year and, of course, Disney has announced its new theme park and resort for Yas Island. 👀🏰

It genuinely feels like a destination we’re going to be hearing a LOT more about over the next few years.

Another one added to the ever-growing list… 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

🎂 CC TRAVEL TONIC IS ONE! 🎂

I genuinely can’t believe I’m writing that… one whole year! 🥹💕

What started as me taking a bit of a leap into something completely new has grown into my own little travel business — and I couldn’t let today pass without saying a massive THANK YOU.

To everyone who has trusted me with their holidays, weekends away, experiences and all those little “I’ve got an idea… can you see what you can find?” messages — thank you. ✈️

To everyone who has recommended me to someone else, shared my page, liked or commented on a post or simply mentioned CC Travel Tonic in a conversation — it genuinely means more than you probably realise.

I’ve learned SO much in the last year and I’m still learning every day. I’ve had opportunities and experiences I never expected, met some brilliant people and discovered just how much I love helping bring people’s travel plans to life. 💕

Thanks to a new service from easyJet and Airportr, your bags can be checked in before you even leave, meaning you can head straight to airport security.

🎒 Benefits include:

✅ Skip the check-in desk
✅ Less to carry through the airport
✅ Ideal if you’re travelling with children or lots of luggage

This is the first service of its kind at a Scottish airport and is available for easyJet passengers flying from Edinburgh.

If you’re travelling with bulky luggage, pushchairs or just want a smoother airport experience, this could be well worth considering.
