My neighbours have just returned from a late summer escape, and it is easy to see why they were so keen to share!

Breathtaking sunsets, delicious food and incredible ancient ruins from such a fascinating history.

This music is fitting too, as during their first meal the band began to play the famous score of Zorba the Greek 🎶

I have travelled to a couple of Greek islands and it remains one of my favourite areas to escape to. Where is your favourite place in Greece?

I myself have stayed in Dublin, and what stuck with me was the people and the live music. And I got to see Irish dancing, in Ireland! Such a bucket list moment for me.

There was so much to explore! Historic Trinity College, the famous Book of Kells, the colourful streets of Temple Bar, the buzz of Grafton Street. Not forgetting the Guinness storehouse!

Why not hire a car like we did, and travel to Galway too?

This review comes from one of my piano students, who loves a bit of solo exploring. Having enjoyed his trip to Madeira earlier this year with Emily's Escapes, he asked for a city break to Oslo!

"Oslo is a great city. Clean, friendly with some great things to see.

The National Museum is one of the best I’ve been to. Spacious, excellent collections and not crowded. The Munch museum was fascinating. The Scream was on show and it was good to see all his other work - 12 stories of building dedicated to him.

The Resistance Museum in the old fort was especially interesting. It tells the story of the resistance movement when occupied during WW2.

🍴There are plenty of places to eat out. More expensive than the UK but not as bad as I thought. They have pubs! Found a jazz club and spent a couple of evenings there.

🍷The district near the hotel had a great vibe. Bars and cafes, river walk, Sunday market, park with folk enjoying a sunny afternoon.

I wish I'd left time for a boat trip tour so I could experience the fjords!"

Photos and feedback from some very special happy clients!

Yes, this was a holiday for my mum and dad 💕 as they enter the lead up to their 40th wedding anniversary next summer.

Booking for my family made me even more determined to find a beautiful spot in a country and landscape I have so much love for. And it looks like I got it right!

Dubrovnik never disappoints, and an historical trip to Mostar made for a very happy Dad 😊

I'm here to make EVERY aspect of the holiday simple, and in this case it was organising transfers to the excursion and clarifying meal options with the hotel.

So wonderful to share in such happy memories!

Before we booked this holiday, I wasn't sure it would feel like a holiday for us as adults! A hotel schedule, limited luggage and home comforts, baking hot sun - WITH CHILDREN?

While there were tricky moments, there were so many more happy ones.

Let holiday rules flow - let them have beige food at the buffet, let them want the pool every afternoon, let them have that play in a park, and when you're all hot just go back to the air con!

I had moments alone too, which I needed. Perhaps that's because of our divorce, but even without that you can arrange to grab an hour here and there. DO IT!

You can have it all 🤍 and the importance of your hotel setup and setting is so important in that.
