The Cabin Lake restarted its season on 20th March.

Sean, Phil and Pete have been coming to Lodge Lakes for the last 5 years fishing the cabin lake for 4 years. They are continuously booked on at Lodge Lakes alternating between the lakes each year.

They had a great opening week at the cabin lake this year.
They caught 32 fish with a total weight of 775 lb 11oz. The biggest Mirror weighed in at 31lb 8oz and the biggest Common was 24lb.

We look forward to seeing them again next year.

Week two on the Lodge lake....

🎣 Jamie and his lads all had a PB. The fishing was hard with high pressure. They caught 8 fish, the biggest was a 🎣 50 lb Mirror 🎣 and the biggest common weighed in at 37 lb.

Fish caught:
Total Commons x 3
Total Mirrors x 5

🎣 1 carp 50 lb
🎣 2 carp over 40 lb
🎣 4 carp over 30 lb
🎣 1 carp over 20 lb

Season 2026 begins....

🎣 The fishing season began on 6th March at the Lodge lake and we welcomed Marc and his boys.
They caught 12 carp with an average weight of 29 lb.
The biggest carp was a beautiful 🎣 62 lb 7oz common 🎣 and the biggest Mirror came out at 37 lb 7 oz.

Fish caught:
Total Commons x 5
Total Mirrors x 6
1x Catfish at 10 lb

🎣 1 carp over 60 lb
🎣 2 carp over 30 lb
🎣 6 carp over 20 lb
🎣 2 doubles

Here's Danny, caught smallest fish of the week at 19lb mirror so he where's the clown outfit at Thursday night dinner 🤣🤣🤣, the boys enjoyed their week all 6 fishing had PB's and Mark who didnt fish also loved it and my Green thai curry a new lover of thai food !👌went slow due to freezing nights and high pressure, biggest 50lb mirror

As promised here are the photos of the new carp that went into the Lodge Lake a couple of weeks ago. We added some smaller carp to liven up the bigger fish and make more competition for feeding.
28 carp went in from 7kg (15lb) up to 10kg (22lb):
Breakdown of weights:

🎣 5 x 7.5kg (16.5lb)
🎣 4 x 8kg (17.5lb)
🎣 1 x 8.25kg (18lb)
🎣 2 x 8.5kg (18.5lb)
