Welcome to Villa Rosalys and Les Garances, two stunning accommodation rentals in Roussillon, Provence Both houses have exceptional views.

Villa Rosalys and Les Garances are two stunning Provencal villas located side by side, just a 5 min walking distance to the centre of the medieval village of Roussillon in the Luberon – Provence. Both villas are furnished throughout to very high standards. Situated on the side of the Roussillon mountain, they both enjoy stunning views of the National parc of the Luberon and (on clear days) all the

way to the snow capped Mont Ventoux. They are very private and
situated on separate land, including various terraces, olive trees, grapes, lavender fields and pomegranate trees. Villa Rosalys is a 2 -bedroom apartment available for holiday rental at garden level separate from the owners house. Villa Rosalys has a swimming pool of 9 x 5 m with comfortable leisure chairs and footstools. Les Garances is a single house, 2 bedrooms fully renovated in 2022, fully private and self contained on 5000m2 of land. Located next to Villa Rosalys, Les Garances has a spectacular pool of 8m x 4.5m with stunning views. Both houses are fully equipped to very high standards, including luxury amenities, new kitchens, swimming pools and garden terraces. All linen, towels and pool towels are provided and are of high quality. Our season is well and truly underway with recent guests from America, Australia, Netherlands and the UK. Both properties are fully booked until Mid September, with just a few weeks left in Les Garances in the last two weeks of September. For 2026 we are already 75% booked, but there are still some weeks available in both properties, so reserve your vacation now. The village of Roussillon is very busy with lots of tourists. The brocante markets have started and the sun is shining. May is also the month for hikers and bike riders. We love the Provence and are sure you will too. Bonjour from a beautifully sunny yet cold Roussillon. After a very nice holiday break, Elly and I are preparing for the new season ahead. We are very happy with our bookings so far, many of which were booked over 12 months ago. We do however have a few weeks still available in 2025. For Villa Rosalys, one week in August (23rd) and the last 3 weeks of September are all available, the remainder of the year is fully booked. For Les Garances, we have the last two weeks of April and the last 3 weeks of September available, the remainder of the year is fully booked. Let us know if you wish to book a few weeks with us. We are more than half way through our season and have welcomed so many wonderful guests. It has been hot this last few weeks, but with both houses fully air conditioned and each house with a private swimming pool, every body is happy. Our last guest at Villa Rosalys just left this wonderful review and this makes our day, and hopefully yours too.

We stayed at Villa Rosalys for one week in August and we all agreed (2 adults and 2 children aged 14 and 11) that it is the best holiday accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. The Villa is beautiful - the outside space is really fantastic, the views are incredible, and the inside space has lovely decor. There is so much space and everything you could possibly need has been thought about and provided. The kitchen is well equipped and every room has useful touches. Elly and Steve were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Roussillon is lovely and in easy distance of lots of great places to visit. We didn’t want to leave. Usually when we stay in holiday accommodation we can think of a few things that would improve it but with Villa Rosalys we couldn’t think of anything - it is already perfect. Can’t recommend enough and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we’re back in the region. Thank you so much Elly and Steve for having us!

We are half way through our season and Summer has started, as well as school holidays. The lavender are in full bloom and there are so many events planned for the Luberon it is difficult to know what to do first. Our guests so far have included Dutch, English, Romanian, American, Australians and French. We are fully booked in both properties until mid October (except two weeks in Villa Rosalys in September). Elly is off Brocante buying in L’isle sur la Sorgue and I may sneak in a bike ride

Are you planning your Provence summer holiday? Sadly, one of our clients has cancelled two weeks in our Les Garances Gite due to a health related matter. We now have two weeks available at Les Garances between Saturday June 22 and Saturday 6th July. Les Garances has been newly renovated and has exceptional views to the Luberon valley and Mont Ventoux. Did you know the tradition of the 3 cypress trees in Provence? Around many Provençal homes, they have three cypress trees, planted in a triangular shape. Traditionally, this is a symbol of hospitality. When travelers passed by and saw three trees, they knew they could rest and stay for the night. Two trees, and they could eat and drink, but if there was only one tree, it meant “don’t stop here.” In the gardens of Villa Rosalys and Les Garances we have 18 Cypress trees. (6 sets of 3) so we are very welcome to all travellers. They all require pruning in the late Autumn and today we did the “three trees” at Les Garances. Autum keeps us very busy gardening and doing repairs and maintenance ready for the Spring. We are waiting for our next guests, the fourth for the season. The pool and garden are ready, it is 25 degrees and the sky is blue. Spring is here and we are ready to welcome our guests. Over winter, we completed some building works on Les Garances, including the installation of a glass pool safety fence, new lavendar field, new seating area, new cushions, decorative styling of our pool “wall”, new umbrellas, updated lighting and additional styling inside. Whilst Villa Rosalys has received guests for the last few weeks, our first guests of the season arrive in Les Garances today, we are very excited. We look forward to a fantastic season.
