Bonjour from sunny Roussillon. Our rental season has started with an early guest booking for a 3 week stay in Les Garances. It is 23 degrees today, Easter weekend and the village and surrounding area is in full tourist mode. Many restaurants and other places opening after the cool chill of winter. We have worked hard to bring Les Garances out of the winter closure and have updated many small things, to make your stay just that much nicer. Merry Christmas to all our friends and guests past and future. After a fantastic year for ourselves and our holiday homes, Elly and I took a nice vacation followed by a week in Holland to visit Ellys Mum. Whilst we are almost fully booked for next year, we do have some vacancies in April and September / October. We have a last minute vacancy for Villa Rosalys in August 2026. Due to a health related cancellation, our regular guests have cancelled 3 weeks from the 25th July to 15th August 2026. We wish to thank all our guests for a fantastic season in 2025. We have closed our properties, but already the plans have started for next year. For 2026 both properties are fully booked from late April to late September, but we still have some weeks free in early April and late September / October. Elly and I are heading off on our own holiday for 4 weeks, but we have some nice plans for 2026 when we return in January. For the first time in 17 years we have a family of Sanglier (wild boar) who seem to like digging up our gardens every night, we are sure they will depart before the Spring. Last night there were 6 outside our bedroom window. Our dogs are going crazy every night!. We look forward to a new season in 2026 and to welcome past and new guests to our beautiful region. Our season is well under way and so we decided to visit Omma restaurant in the village, a special treat sitting on the terrace overlooking the ochre cliffs. We were regular customers with the previous owner and we are happy to say the new owner has provided a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, and the new owner Hugo came to our table to meet us and have a chat. We have been recommending this restaurant and all our guests have been very happy. And the best part, the walk home in the evening, our village is at its best when the lights come on. Our bookings for 2026 are almost complete, with some availability in April and September. Our season is well and truly underway with recent guests from America, Australia, Netherlands and the UK. Both properties are fully booked until Mid September, with just a few weeks left in Les Garances in the last two weeks of September. For 2026 we are already 75% booked, but there are still some weeks available in both properties, so reserve your vacation now. The village of Roussillon is very busy with lots of tourists. The brocante markets have started and the sun is shining. May is also the month for hikers and bike riders. We love the Provence and are sure you will too. Bonjour from a beautifully sunny yet cold Roussillon. After a very nice holiday break, Elly and I are preparing for the new season ahead. We are very happy with our bookings so far, many of which were booked over 12 months ago. We do however have a few weeks still available in 2025. For Villa Rosalys, one week in August (23rd) and the last 3 weeks of September are all available, the remainder of the year is fully booked. We are more than half way through our season and have welcomed so many wonderful guests. It has been hot this last few weeks, but with both houses fully air conditioned and each house with a private swimming pool, every body is happy. Our last guest at Villa Rosalys just left this wonderful review and this makes our day, and hopefully yours too.

We stayed at Villa Rosalys for one week in August and we all agreed (2 adults and 2 children aged 14 and 11) that it is the best holiday accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. The Villa is beautiful - the outside space is really fantastic, the views are incredible, and the inside space has lovely decor. There is so much space and everything you could possibly need has been thought about and provided. The kitchen is well equipped and every room has useful touches. Elly and Steve were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Roussillon is lovely and in easy distance of lots of great places to visit. We didn’t want to leave. Usually when we stay in holiday accommodation we can think of a few things that would improve it but with Villa Rosalys we couldn’t think of anything - it is already perfect. Can’t recommend enough and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we’re back in the region. Thank you so much Elly and Steve for having us!
