Clos Fourtet, nineteen years apart.
A 2000 and a 2019 from the same limestone.

Pickers in Sauternes don’t harvest a vineyard once.
They walk the same rows five or six times over several weeks, taking only the grapes that are ready that day. Some years the fog never cooperates and barely any proper Sauternes gets made at all.

Château Lagrange, three ways.
