Word: Millerandage (🇬🇧 hens & chicks)
• 🇬🇧 Definition: When some grapes in a bunch ripen fully while others stay small and green, often due to bad weather during flowering or vine stress. A harvest challenge!
• 🇫🇷 Définition : Quand certaines baies d’une grappe mûrissent normalement et d’autres restent petites et vertes, souvent à cause du mauvais temps pendant la floraison ou du stress de la vigne. Un vrai défi aux vendanges !

Big cheers to Jean-Philippe Saby at Château Rozier for hosting the most delightful (and delicious) Easter lunch for our lovely British clients!
Yes, the rain showed up uninvited, but your warm welcome, fine wines, and fabulous feast made us forget all about the weather!

Turns out a glass of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru pairs perfectly with a soggy umbrella and of course chocolate !

Merci mille fois – you really know how to roll out the red carpet (an umbrella ).
