Three bedroom, two bathroom Gite in the heart of the french countryside. Comfortably sleeps 6/7 people.

With private garden and lots to explore in the Sarthe, Mayenne and Orne departments.

Have had some time for work on the entrance to the garden this week. Still lots to do, but not until after this weekends guests.

A chance to do some more work at the gite garden. Thankfully we got the fence panels up yesterday before today's strong winds.

At the gite again this morning preparing for our weekend guests (there are four bank holidays in May here, so lots of long weekends to enjoy this year).
I have just noticed the last guests comments in the visitors book. I am so delighted that the two young girls from Paris loved the new games room. It was a lot of work earlier this year getting it finished so it is so rewarding that all the guests so far this year have really enjoyed it.

Some maintenance work at the gite this afternoon in between guests and a very different view of the gite and garden

Just had a thank you email from one of the group of young chinese friends that stayed at the gite and to say see you next time, which was lovely. He said they had left me a Chinese lantern present in a cupboard which I hadn't yet noticed. So it is now hanging in the lounge and as I get the gite ready for more guests on Friday each time I see it I will smile and hope that they do indeed visit us again soon.
