Spring has well and truly arrived here and we are getting ready for the summer season! 🦋

We have been doing some pool maintenance, creating new signs for the Gite entrances and trying to keep on top of cutting the grass, not easy when the ride on keeps breaking!!

We're also working on our new family room with ensuite that will be part of gite Mirabelles this summer, I will add some pics soon! 🌞

I found this cockchafer (yes, that's what it's actually called! 😆) in our barn on its back struggling.

Happy to have helped him or her back out into the garden! 🥰

After months of storms and so much rain, it’s hard to believe that in just a few weeks the pool will be open again and ready for sunny days ☀️

The new sun loungers are waiting to be set out, and all the pool house games and accessories will soon be back in place for long, lazy afternoons by the water.

In the garden, the seasons are changing quickly. The daffodils are fading, the tulips are in full bloom, the wisteria is almost ready to burst into flower, and the Mirabelle plum trees are covered in blossom.

It’s one of the most exciting times of the year here. With sunshine finally forecast next week, we’ll be starting the big spring tidy-up and getting everything ready for the summer ahead 🌸🌿
