An update on the local Corona virus situation.

CORONAVIRUS: Here’s the good news. As confirmed by the Mairie de Morzine-Avoriaz this morning, there are NO CASES of Coronavirus in Morzine or the surrounding area. The situation is changing rapidly and our local schools are closely monitored. There’s one cluster of the virus in the Haute Savoie (in Balme de Sillingy near Annecy, 85km from Morzine) but across France gatherings of more than 1000 people have been prohibited. So for now, is OPEN FOR BUSINESS, the snow keeps falling and the pistes are excellence. If you’re planning a trip to our valley this spring, you’ll still have a wonderful holiday. In the meantime, here’s the French Government’s official advice en anglais for your reading pleasure! Stay safe lovers!
