The 467th festival of the Bravades de Saint-Tropez, steeped in history .. the true Saint-Tropez we love.
The festival is a tribute to the namesake Saint-Tropez, a Roman officer who was martyred for his faith in the 1st century.
The Bravades also celebrate the town’s maritime defense history since the 1600’s.
Over the centuries this event has evolved into a blend of historical reverence, cultural pride, and community joy. Our streets are filled with traditional music, dancing, food and drink stalls, and our neighbours proudly dressed in period costumes, musketeers, and military bands, parading the streets.

La 467e édition des Bravades de Saint-Tropez, chargée d’histoire… le Saint-Tropez authentique que nous aimons. Ce festival rend hommage à Saint-Tropez, un officier romain martyrisé pour sa foi au Ier siècle. Les Bravades célèbrent également l’histoire de la défense maritime de la ville depuis le XVIIe siècle. Au fil des siècles, cet événement a évolué pour devenir un mélange de respect historique, de fierté culturelle et de joie communautaire. Nos rues regorgent de musique traditionnelle, de danses, de stands de restauration et de boissons, et nos voisins, fièrement vêtus de costumes d’époque, défilent au son des mousquetaires et des fanfares militaires.
