Maison La Cerisaie is a beautiful Alpine stone farmhouse offering half-board accommodation, self-catering and bed and breakfast year round. It operates as a fully catered ski chalet in the winter season and can also be reserved on a self-catering basis. ged mountains and stunning scenery in a tranquil, authentic Alpine location at the heart of Salvagny, one of the hamlets which make up the ancient village of Sixt Fer à Cheval in the Grand Massif, Haute Savoie. Recognised officially as one of "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France" (The Most Beautiful Villages of France), Sixt is under 10 minutes by car from the resort of Samoens and 75 minutes from Geneva airport. Accommodating up to 12 people in four comfortable en-suite bedrooms, the chalet has a spacious and elegant living space with mountain views on three sides. It combines traditional Alpine atmosphere and character with contemporary design. In winter, the Sixt ski slopes are 200 metres away and an 8-minute drive or free ski bus ride takes you to the Grand Massif Express gondola in Samoens, giving rapid access to the area's whole 265 km of pistes. The famous 14 km "Cascades" blue run from the top of the Flaine bowl at 2480 metres also finishes in Sixt, a few hundred metres from the house, and offers spectacular views of the Mont Blanc massif. In summer, surrounded by the largest nature reserve in Haute Savoie, the house is perfect as a start point for Alpine walks or as a base for the area’s many adventurous activities, including mountain-biking, climbing, whitewater rafting, paragliding, horse-riding and mule-trekking. 🎵 Songwriting Retreat in the Alps - only 2 spaces left! 5-10th May 2025. After a very successful first retreat last year, we are back! Il reste 2 places pour notre retraite Composition. Photos and vidéos prises l'année dernière ❤️

Last year we helped to produce a very successful songwriting retreat in our chalet. The musical side of the retreat was managed by The Dunwells (Joe and Dave Dunwell, Syco signed songwriters) and it was a complete success, and we've already had the music that we created at the event placed in ads and used in major retail chains and Tesco's service stations around the UK. We've also pitched songs for television and look to have the music featured with a network in 2025.

Along with successfully creating great music, we really feel that we created a community among the writers and producers who were there and the fact that they are still collaborating on music nearly a year on is a good sign.

We are really excited to announce that we will be back out in France on the songwriting retreat from the 5th of May to the 10th 2025. We've currently secured incredible writer-producers for all three of the designated production rooms, and we are looking for 2 more artists (8 places have already been taken) who would like to join us, preferably creating music that they would like to release themselves. We would use our contacts in our teams to pitch the songs for TV and film, giving the maximum amount of opportunity for the music created.

Despite expanding the team and rising costs, we are working as hard as possible to keep the cost as similar as they were last year. Maximum £800. This covers all travel once you land at Geneva airport, to and from the house, three meals a day (my cooking!), alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and our planned restaurant meal and wine one night. And of course, the accommodation in the large chalet where we will also be setting up the studio spaces.

We plan to run three writing studios per day and look to rotate artists, allowing them to collaborate with as many different people as possible. All production is free to use, from the board mix, and all stems are yours as an artist to take and mix and work on in your own time. We also encourage you to negotiate time to collaborate with the producers back in the UK afterward to finish the material. We have a team registering all the songs correctly to ensure song splits are properly inputted, and we will have industry professionals on site for questions and guidance.
