House no. 1, "Maison Grenache", (sleeps 4) has a large living-room with arched terrace doors on the right side and in front. The entrance is on the side as well - you come in into a hallway, where there is a toilet, the room for the washing machine and the wardrobe. The tiled stairs lead to the first floor: bordered on a large corridor, you will find two bedrooms, with a bathroom each. One with just a shower, the other with bathtub (triangle) and shower. House no. 2, "Maison Syrah", (sleeps 8) is the biggest house, very well suitable for conferences, meetings, workshops, etc. You enter at the back into the hall-way. Here are the stairs to the first and second floor. If you go left, you come into the spacious living-room. Two large arched doors lead to the terrace with view to the apple and nut trees. At the back side there is the kitchen, the room for the washing machine and the toilet. In the centre there is a large table for up to 8 persons. On the first as well as on the second floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with bathroom and round shower. House no. 3, "Maison Muscat", (sleeps 4) is the smallest house. Entrance on the back, where you come into the kitchen. The living room is in the front, with the large arched doors that lead to the terrace. There is a small room for the washing machine. In the hall-way you will find the toilet and the stairs leading to the two bedrooms each with their own shower room with toilet and wash-bowl. House no. 4, "Maison Marsanne", (sleeps 4) has its entrance on the side. You come into the kitchen and on your right you will see the dining-place (6 persons) and the living-room with large arched doors on the side and in front, leading to the terrace. In the hall-way there is a toilet and the stairs that lead to the first floor, where you will find the 2 bedrooms each with their own shower room with toilet and wash-bowl. Outside
You can make use of the shared swimming pool or go to the nearby Lake Montbel, where you can surf, sail or hire a waterbike. There is a barbecue area and a terrace for each house. Surroundings
You can make magnificent walks here and enjoy the unspoilt nature or explore the surroundings on a mountain-bike. You can hire one of the horses and go for a ride in the hillside, with or without the guide. In Chalabre, only a 10 minutes drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a bank and restaurants. Aude, a region stretching between the Mediterranean and Toulouse and southward to the Pyrenees, has a lot to offer you: mountains and hills, woods and lakes, warm water sources, babbling brooks and wild rivers, squeezing themselves through the "gorges", waterfalls, or splendid caverns with stalactites and stalagnites. You can relax on one of the quiet beaches or choose for some action like walking, cycling and canoeing. You can dive into the rich history of this region by visiting one of the many Cathar castles, the unique mediaeval walled "Cité de Carcassonne", the Roman era in Narbonne or one of the Cistercian Abbeys.
