🇬🇧❣️☕️ London is my place. It always has been!! I land and I exhale. I know where I am and what to do. I had a couple of extra days that I tacked onto the NoteWorthy trip and I got to do some things that filled my cup—theatre, certain restaurants, walks, shopping—and some new spots that are on my radar for clients….

I also got to meet some of our hotel and travel industry partners AND I was thrilled to get hard hat tours with three new luxury hotels on the London scene.💥👷🏻‍♀️🏨 .clementlondon I actually got to meet the amazing Nick Jones in the walk through of St Clement!! 🤩

🍽️👑 But walking into and meeting was the highlight of the week—Mr. King is a national treasure and I had to ask him for a photo. I am so thankful for everything he has done to create amazing spaces where people want to eat/drink in London and to prize and promote British food and hospitality. His restaurants are gold and so is he.🌟🌟🌟

🎟️Theatre: Sadie Sink & Noah Jupe were incredible in Romeo & Juliet. And I LOVED seeing our dear Lord Grantham in Shadowlands.

🩶 AND speaking of the Granthams, I was thrilled to learn about “chatelaines” on this trip. Mrs. Hughes wore these in Downton Abbey—a belt from the Victorian era which had multiple hanging chains with little tools/accessories—there are so many little sterling silver AMAZING collectibles that were on these belts. Stamp cases, matchboxes, scissors, needle cases, thimbles, etc etc. The one I have pictured is a “sovereign case” which opens and holds an antique sovereign coin, like the most beautiful wallet ever (and which I will use as a pendant)!!🙌🏼

If you’re still reading, you really are one of my people 😂😂 and thank you. Bottom line, if you haven’t been to London lately, put it on your list—it NEVER disappoints!!🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Had a BALL in London prior to the NoteWorthy events for a little time on my own and my dear friend of 25+ years, Suzanne (from our Belfast days) was able to join me for big hugs and a long overdue catch-up!!💓🤗

We strolled Marylebone High Street and Pimlico Road and it was one continuous chorus of ((gasp!!)) “Look at that!” ((gasp!!)) “And that!!” ((gasp!!)) “And that!!”🤩 Oh my stars the carpets, the antiques, the fabrics…🥹😩

🛏️🛎️Continuing the joy was our dream-worthy suite which we had the thrill of pretending was our London “home” for a couple of days….🙏🏼💫

🔥Finally made it out to The River Cafe in Hammersmith for an early dinner and caught a saturated sky sunset over the Thames—glorious.🧡💛🧡

Loved exploring all of these London neighborhoods with my friend. Great reminder to venture off the beaten travel path whenever possible🔀 and that 24 hours with an old friend is worth its weight in rubies.❤️

Paris spring break with our senior girls!🇫🇷🙌🏼🎓 These three have known each other since kindergarten. I advised them and their friends in middle school, “When y’all have to choose a language in high school, choose the language of the country you want to visit someday. Obviously, this answer is France.”😂

In a sea teeming with Spanish students (only Spanish and French are offered at our high school and most take Spanish), be different—TAKE FRENCH!!📚 I said whoever takes French in high school, we can go to Paris your senior year. Well, the girls got to high school and these three did indeed go against the flow and took French.🫶🏼 We never talked again about Paris for four years…until this past fall at a soccer game. I said, “Would yall want to go to Paris??” and the answer was “OUI OUI!!”👏🏼❣️👏🏼

We lost the first day of our trip thanks to airline drama (yall, please heed this warning to purchase travel insurance🙏🏼—love, your friendly travel advisor) but we made up for it by going 90 to nothin’ the rest of the days.

We headed home EXHAUSTED in the best way—🚲bike rides, 👑Versailles, 🖼️Louvre, d’Orsay, 👩🏻‍🍳pastry class, 🔍flea market, 🛍️shopping, ☕️tea time at Le Meurice (magnifique!!), 🛥️a freezing Seine cruise and 🥐savoring every bite of everything.

👋🏼💔 Au revoir, Paris!! Au revoir, jambon beurres! Au revoir, croissants! Au revoir, croque monsieurs! Merci beaucoup for all the memories!!😘😘

Work + explore in NYC🏨🗽: amazing hotel visits and a beautiful dinner with (in the middle of a blizzard, no less)!! Great to be with the team and experience the magic of hospitality excellence + partnerships against the backdrop of a dreamy snow-covered Big Apple.💫❄️🍎☃️

I woke up in a cozy hotel room across the street from Central Park on Monday morning during the Blizzard of ‘26, and I got to walk around this glorious Narnia for a little while. It tugged at my Southern girlhood winter dreams.

✈️ Squeezed in a special trip to the Big Apple with some friends in between Christmas + New Year’s to celebrate our senior girls as they close in on graduation.🎓💔 Memories for life!!

🌬️As we approached the trip, a snowstorm was forecasted. Ultimately it wasn’t as bad as expected, thank goodness, but we got a snowy NYC for the first couple of days which added to the magic!!💫

Things we L❤️VED:

Ragtime at Lincoln Center 🎶

Rockettes 🎄💃🏻

NYCB’s Nutcracker with as Dewdrop 🩰🐭🙌🏼 Finally got to see her perform live!! The BEST Nutcracker.🥇

🍽️ Lunches/dinners
La Tête d’Or was 👌🏼—perfect steaks, vibes and service, must do!!🇫🇷

💆🏻‍♀️ My solo breakfast at —favorite coping strategy on a group/family trip for someone who recharges with quiet: schedule a breakfast off-site from the hotel where you’re staying. The Whitby was perfect—British vibes, serene, beautiful china, cozy dining room, proper tea service, brought my needlepoint, spoke to no one except my server🙊 HEAVEN☕️🪡🇬🇧

❄️ Snowy Central Park—watching the children sled!!

☕️ Gingerbread Lattes (yes we waited an hour at the Madison location🙄) and taking in the glory of a “Ralph Lauren Christmas”🧸🎁🇺🇸

🌇 Escaping the Midtown crowds in the Upper East Side and SoHo/Chelsea for shopping—we looooved and in the UES🛍️

🥖🇬🇧 Cozy Christmas dreams at the newly-opened in the UES, even though they were sold out of their famous chocolate orange sticks—we made up for that with a significant pastries haul. 🥐🛒

❄️❄️Bergdorf’s interior decor = over the top fabulous

Quick visit 🖼️ —definitely need a revisit when we have more time—incredible home/collection. Their cafe, The Westmoreland, is super popular.

🎹 🍸Piano and cocktails/mocktails —always magical but the line is getting longer!😰

🗽❄️🍎 Just being with our girls and some dear parents who have been part of our “tribe” since kindergarten days. Deeply grateful for the friendships and memories…and the best start to 2026!!🎉
