🇬🇧❣️☕️ London is my place. It always has been!! I land and I exhale. I know where I am and what to do. I had a couple of extra days that I tacked onto the NoteWorthy trip and I got to do some things that filled my cup—theatre, certain restaurants, walks, shopping—and some new spots that are on my radar for clients….
I also got to meet some of our hotel and travel industry partners AND I was thrilled to get hard hat tours with three new luxury hotels on the London scene.💥👷🏻♀️🏨 .clementlondon I actually got to meet the amazing Nick Jones in the walk through of St Clement!! 🤩
🍽️👑 But walking into and meeting was the highlight of the week—Mr. King is a national treasure and I had to ask him for a photo. I am so thankful for everything he has done to create amazing spaces where people want to eat/drink in London and to prize and promote British food and hospitality. His restaurants are gold and so is he.🌟🌟🌟
🎟️Theatre: Sadie Sink & Noah Jupe were incredible in Romeo & Juliet. And I LOVED seeing our dear Lord Grantham in Shadowlands.
🩶 AND speaking of the Granthams, I was thrilled to learn about “chatelaines” on this trip. Mrs. Hughes wore these in Downton Abbey—a belt from the Victorian era which had multiple hanging chains with little tools/accessories—there are so many little sterling silver AMAZING collectibles that were on these belts. Stamp cases, matchboxes, scissors, needle cases, thimbles, etc etc. The one I have pictured is a “sovereign case” which opens and holds an antique sovereign coin, like the most beautiful wallet ever (and which I will use as a pendant)!!🙌🏼
If you’re still reading, you really are one of my people 😂😂 and thank you. Bottom line, if you haven’t been to London lately, put it on your list—it NEVER disappoints!!🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
