Today was full with an impromptu visit to an 11 century chapel, two tastings, an incredible lunch and much fun!

We don’t only taste wine, we also learn about history and culture. This morning, à guided visit of Tours: secret medieval passages, awe inspiring cathedrals, architecture and history.

Day two and we cannot be stopped. Where else do you wear a hard hat for a wine tour? Going underground to visit the Troglodyte caves and drinking sparkling wines!

A great start for our Loire Valley wine tour! Tasting of six wines at cave Ambacia, followed by a wine pairing lunch and an afternoon full of history at the Château d’Amboise where the famous Leonardo da Vinci is buried.

Excellent opening dinner at the Brasserie de L’Univers in Tours. Everyone got to meet, we toasted to the program and we are ready to get started tasting in the morning!

This year's tour to the amazing Loire Valley in France will begin soon. Our group of 16 wine enthusiasts will be based in Tours and will enjoy visits to wineries and meet some of Loire's most forward thinking winemakers. Vouvray, Chinon, Saumur and Bourgueil are on the list with stops for lunch in troglodyte caves and visits to Loire's famous chateaux such as Amboise and Chenonceau.
